update in settings

Im trying ti keep my 4s in the 6.1.3 it came with so when the new jail break comes out i can just keep it there, i have a lot turned off on the phone but today in settings it says in general > software update> how can i turn that off? i don't want any updates to come to my phone, thank you for any help

Yep, I've had that update 1 red ball since they moved on from iOs 5.1.1, just don't even notice it now

Its like me with pending email that needs reading. You just get used to seeing it there. It becomes part of the background!

I found that when we can finally jail break the 6.1.3, you can download from cydia software update killer and it stops the iPhone from getting those updates and removes the red dot
