So it's nice to hear in Verizon's new release that you can keep your unlimited data plan (UDP for short), even if it means having to buy a new iPhone at full price when it comes out. However, why did Verizon do that and not just say "full price be dam*ed*, if you get a new iPhone for any reason you lose your UDP"? I mean, if they're going to dispose of the plan, why not just put the screws in? They could just as well say that users are stuck with the UDP on their current phones, but no newer phones. Couldn't they?
