updated to ios 6 now unable to send email

hi all ive just updated to ios6 and now im unable to send or receive emails
ive restarted
soft reset ect
but nothing has helped
ive also deleted the account and reopened it but still to no avail

the only way i can deal with my emails is through safari directly on yahoos site

please help
