updating from IOS 4.3.5 to 5.0 please help!!!!

Hi Fate, it is not possible. You can only go to 5.0.1 because Apple is no longer signing 5.0

Seriously. We know this stuff. It is impossible to install 5.0 on ANY device now, no matter what. If it isn't on there, you can't get it installed. End of.

icic. i was unsure and nervous about upgrading to 5.0.1 but i don't think i have a choice lol. do you have a link where i could find the jailbreak for 5.0.1? ( is this even possible yet?)

You will need to download the 5.0 AND 5.0.1 firmwares. redsn0w needs the 5.0 firmware to jailbreak 5.0.1 at the moment... - http://www.iphoneforums.net/forum/i...ple-ios-firmware-download-links-iphone-17213/

And then when you are in iTunes. Hit Shift + Restore and select your downloaded .ipsw
