Upgrade thoughts

I have a 7 plus which still works great but I use my phone for both work and personal use and the battery isn't fantastic anymore so my question is to all of you hardcore users I have it narrowed down to 11 or 10 Max both of which are affordable, the xs max is a rehab phone the 11 is new.....

My thought process is that while the 11 is 4 $ more a month it's new out of the box and will be worth more to trade-in for a future upgrade etc. Anybody who has used both that can provide input I would appreciate.

The iPhone 7 is a pretty old piece of technology. I started out with a 6 and then I aquired a 8 and now I have a 13. at this point in time in my opinion with the fact that the 14 is now out I would consider getting not anything less than a 13 at this point.

I always say get the very latest model you can afford.

I would second the above! Get the latest you afford. I had an XS Max and it was a great phone, but sounds like you would be getting a refurbed one, I've never been a fan of that.
