Upgrading from 4.3.2 to latest firmware

Hey guys, i'm looking to update my firmware from 4.3.2 to the latest version. My phone is already jailbroken. I'm wondering if there is any tutorial on how best to upgrade the firmware without losing my apps/music etc. If you guys can point me in the right direction that would be great.

I am sorry but I cannot advise anyone to restore from iOS 4 to iOS 5 and use an iOS 4 backup. You will be better off setting up the device as new.

Rite now, I would concentrate on transferring your apps, and music from iPhone to iTunes.

If you have music on your phone that is not from iTunes, you will have to transfer that music a different way. Use i-FunBox or iSpirit. Ill tell you how if needed.

one step at a time, don't just jump into updating.

Also, do you want to update to the latest iOS 5.1 and tether jailbreak, or do you want to update to 5.0.1 and have an untethered jailbreak?

Do you even want a jailbreak at all?
