Upload videos not using iTunes

I'm trying to find a way to quickly and easily transfer videos to my iPad 1. I downloaded i-Funbox and was able to upload several videos, but I can't find them under Videos on my iPad. So, do I need to update the file list somehow or what did I do wrong? i-Funbox has a Copy from PC option I used to transfer these files. I placed them under Raw File System>PhotoData>Videos.
Forgot to mention...I'd also like to be able to take off some of the old videos but can't seem to find them in i-Funbox.

You could use iphonebrowser maybe that would be faster but I think the best way is just use Itunes and upload the files, you can download apps such as CineXplayer that play xvid also
