Use ip4 as a broadband modem on pc

Hello... I try to make my ip4 as a wifi router (in personal hotspot) and its working.. The other day i try use my ip4 as a modem (like the other broadband modem) through usb cable to my pc but fail.. Will somebody tell me how the right step..??

How are you tethering your phone?

If you are jailborken use MiWi (or what ever it is) you might need to install some drivers and or remove, restart then install.

You should also be sure your Bluetooth/wifi is off and not trying to connect to your phone.
