Verizon iPhone 4 Review

Verizon iPhone 4 Review

To be honest, the difference in the OSes are more than just minor Safari improvements. 4.3.x also contains numerous Airplay enhancements (the ability to stream Airplay content from 3rd party apps and websites is the major one).

Another issue is that certain apps simply refuse to install of 4.2.x

It is actually becoming more and more of an issue the more time that goes by. iOS 5 should rectify this problem.

Hey guys, I just did this. Let me know what you think! Thanks!

You have done a marvellous job in summarizing everything. Pretty much nailed the review. Good Job.. Now only if Verizon will allow us to have the same iOS which I belive will be once iOS 5 sees the light of the day...

iOS 5 will even everything up.

It will, but given what people expected from the iPhone experience; the OSes on the 2 devices never should have gone so far out of sync with one another to begin with. There are apps out there that were updated for 4.3 when it released; and haven't been compatible with the VZW iPhone 4 for months.

Thank you kind sir, I greatly appreciate it. And I agree, I do believe that iOS 5 will even the playing field. I think that Apple deemed it not worth their time to devote their developers to 4.3 for the ViPhone when they are working hard on iOS 5. I heavily believe that iOS 5 will release simultaneously for AT&T's model and Verizon's, especially since there is a CDMA and GSM Beta being released at the same time for developers by Apple. Here is a review of the latest beta if you guys are curious....

True, I appreciate your comments and I agree with you. The big things that I believe are missing is the Safari Improvements and the iPhone not meeting the app requirements because the app was coded to work on devices running 4.3 or higher. I did forget to mention that. Thanks for reading and for pointing that out, I do appreciate it.
