Verizon iPhone App/Folder Lock or Password Protect?

I was wondering if it was possible (without jailbreaking) to password protect or lock a particular app or a folder. Id prefer if I could drag certain apps to a folder and just password protect the entire folder.

I've looked through the app store and googled and wasn't sure if it was even possible.
