Verizon Launches VZ Transfer App For New iPhone 4

TiPb reports today that a week ahead of the day that the Verizon Wireless iPhone 4 hits the stores (February 10!), Verizon proves that it intends to go all-out in ushering in the iPhone 4 era by releasing its free VZ Transfer app to the app store, which enables Verizon customers to transfer their contacts over from their old phone via Verizon’s Backup Assistant service to their brand spanking new iPhone 4. The Verizon Backup Assistant is a free service for Verizon Wireless customers enabling them to backup their contacts to the cloud, so that they can then export the contacts to their new phone, in this case the iPhone 4. Obviously by providing this special VZ Contact Transfer app for their customers, Verizon are making it just that little bit easier for them to complete the transfer process, which can’t hurt their customer service rep.
