Hello. I have a very old iPhone and being a pensioner I'm not sure how to do certain tasks. I've managed to find out that my phone is an A1723 which I believe is a first generation phone. My granddaughter has sent me some text messages with embedded video files. I would like to keep these videos for future use. I would like to know how I can extract the videos. I tried i player but my PC is also old and last year during a Windows update, the audio driver were knocked out. (this is another story, not for this forum). As a result i player will not run..
So any help in saving these videos would be greatly welcomed.
Thank you.
Joe

Welcome to iPhone Forums!

Your iPhone is an iPhone SE, and it has been released four years ago.
Did you daughter send the videos in the built in Messages app, or a different one?

Hello J.A, thank you for a quick reply. Yes my granddaughter sent them via the built in Messages app.
I'm shutting down now. Back tomorrow.
Thank you

If she made the videos, you can save them to the Photos app.

Thank you J.A. I will try this later. Really appreciate this. If this don't work, do you mind if I come back to you?
