Video not working

Specifically talking about skype mobile.

When at the menu to call somebody the "video call" option grayed out (when in the call options for any contact).

While on the phone via skype mobile the video briefly started to work but turned off after ~5 seconds. Not sure how or why.

Is there a way to make the video call button workable so I can video chat while using the iPhone? Thanks.

I see you have a pending topic at Skype forum here:

You may need to bump that unanswered topic with the word "Bump", hopefully "tech support" may the answer this 3 day old topic!

From what I've found online the options to try are:

try any available Beta upgrade of Skype
try another Windows OS (like Windows 7) or updated Mac
uninstall the reinstall Skype fully
confirm your phone is default firmware and not Jailbroken
confirm your phone has at least the minimum requirements
choose another contact with a different device

There seems to be no set best answer, which makes me feel that Skype is just not at this stable capability yet, on some devices and when working from from certain configurations. Hence the reason (I feel) no one has replied to your topic as yet.

Please keep us informed. Especially if Skype replies after bumping your topic.
