Video output from iPhone 4 to Monitor?

Is it possible?

I wanted to see if it was possible to somehow connect my iPhone 4 to a computer monitor and view my movies from my phone? I don't think it is possible but wanted to just ask you guys.

I DO have cables that allow me to connect my phone to a monitor that has the A/V connection, but are there any cables that allow you to connect via VG connection?

Connect it to computer monitor? I think it should be possible if there is ever a supported cable for it. At the moment, you can connect it to your tv, still you need those tv to iphone cables.

I found the Apple brand cable to connect an iPhone to a computer monitor. Do I need a special app to run it? Or is there a setting I can change?
