I've already learned a lot from browsing this forum, and I'm glad to finally have become a registered member. My visual voicemail is full at 40 messages (the maximum allowed on Verizon, in my area, as I was told). Although in other threads there were options such as pay for a cd to be sent to you, yearly subscription services for backing up future voicemails, as well as attaching a cable and just record the audio alone. But my hope is to be able to backup my visual voicemails in the same format that I can access them later without having to plod through hours of recorded audio of unidentified callers.
Although I love my iPhone and would never give it up, this was extremely simple to do with my Droid; by opening the voicemail, selecting "options" and then selecting "archive" in order to save them permanently to an SD card.
I feel certain that there must be a way to do this with an iPhone as well, but I just haven't figured it out yet. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
