Volume malfunction

My volume control has been altered somehow due to the interference of other apps even if the volume is set to maximum it is permanently lower than usual. Any help would be great. Thanks!!

do you have the Skype app open and running in the background? or any other app working like Skype. if yes close those apps from the multitasking bar and run your either radio player or movie player or music player, the sound will be back to normal after you close all Voip app from the background.
