So I have an iPhone 4 CDMA on 4.2.10 and have jail broken it but think I ran into a brick wall. I realized the jailbreak was a tethered one, like my iPads, which does not bother me at all, but from what I've read and think I encountered, is that the jailbreak doesn't really work 100% and certine apps won't work properly. Is this correct?

From what I understand, as soon as you install something which requirers a reboot, the jailbreak will no longer function EVEN IF YOU USE THE TETHERED BOOT OPTION. So the usefulness of the tethered JB on 4.2.10 is extremely limited.
