Hi, i want to upgrade my iPhone 4 with IOS 4.0.1. Its jailbroken phone. Can any body help me hpw to upgrade and which IOS is suitable for this phone i.e 5.0.1 etc

The only way to upgrade a device to an iOS that's currently not being signed is to have SHSH blobs for that iOS that you want to upgrade to. If your device is jailbroken and you ran Cydia at least once during the time when say iOS 5.1.1 was being signed, on the top of the main screen of Cydia, it should be listed there. Or, if you manually saved SHSH blobs during the signing periods, you can use those blobs. If your device is not jailbroken and you did NOT manually save your SHSH blobs, then there's no way to selectively upgrade and your only option right now is to upgrade to iOS 6.0.1. There is no workaround, there is no backdoor method, there is no hack, there is no sharing of blobs, none. If you have blobs, it's possible. If you don't, it's impossible.
