I started at 11:58pm on three devices. Two phones and an iPad Pro. I kept closing the Apple Store app by double clicking the home button and then at 12:06am I got in. I had already pre-registered everything two days ago. The screen said use touchID to complete purchase. The date Nov. 3rd was showing. It then went to another screen with cases and accessories.

I still haven't received an email yet. If I log onto the store now it just says "Your iPhone upgrade is pending."

So I assume I got one??? Not really sure though. If I go to "Orders" it says my recent history of orders can not be displayed at this time.

Congrats! I just my conformation email as well. All is well, I can sleep well now :)
Their servers were probably just overwhelmed for a while.
$1347.84 USD seems a bit pricey, but it will be fun to play with a new iPhone next Friday. Now I just have to convince my wife to stay home until it gets delivered so I don't miss it. Maybe I'll unplug her car battery...
