I have an iphone that dropped in water but still turns on when plugged into a wall charger. As soon as i disconnect it, it shuts off. I have already tried replacing several batteries, what else can i do?

There may be corrosion of the circuitry in addition to the failed battery.

As in the logic board?
Possibly, there's no way to tell for sure without seeing the phone. You should have it checked out at a repair shop to see if it's worth fixing before spending any more money on parts.
