Weird 5S & Motorola T325 Bluetooth Car Speaker Occurance

This is really strange & I can't seem to find an answer anywhere. I have a radar detector in my car & it detects speed cameras by alerting a sound and an L on the display, so I know it's detecting Laser. Now I also have a Motorola T35 bluetooth car speaker.

Since I've had my 5s my bluetooth speaker alerts me with a gong type alert whenever I get near a speed camera. It never did this with my 4S. Does anyone know why it is doing this? How can it pick up the laser? This is very weird.

Ok, so I figured it out. It wasn't my speaker that was doing the alert. It was my GPS. I never use it so I didn't know about the alerts. I've been using it lately & only found out that's what was making the alert because I moved it to a different location away from the speaker. Didn't realize it had safety alerts.
