One of the big players in the US national banking sector just threw their hat into the Apple Pay ring. Wells Fargo officially announced their partnership with Apple to make Apple Pay a reality. Starting in October, Wells Fargo credit cards and debit cards can be used to load up your Apple Pay iTunes account.
Wells Fargo even took the time to reiterate that Apple Pay will come out swinging as it will be ready to go on over 220,000 stores, restaurants, and more in the future. Here's a quote with a few more details,

When you activate Apple Pay on your new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in October, confirm you'd like to use the card you've stored in iTunes. When you do, you'll be able to:
