I screw up my phone enough that I keep a detailed list of all the stuff I've put on it. Well, not detailed enough apparently.

For the life of me I can not recall, nor find, the app I added about a month ago. It's default action is to tap below the screen and slide up a little bit. Doing so would reveal the app switcher. It sure saves wear and tear on the Home button.

Anyone have a clue?

Huh, I did not know that was even a function on the iPhone. On my iPad you simply use all fingers and slide up on the screen to accomplish that.

There is a new tweak released that does this called Zephyr. Very cool and it's only $2.99 (USD). With it, you can use one finger to slide up to reveal the switcher.

In fact, it's just been updated, yesterday, IIRC, in that you can now use it as a Home button to close an app and go back to the springboard. Way awesome tweak - in my top 5 of favorites.

Might that work for you?

And the winner is Marilyn/Mickey330. My thanks to all who took the time and effort to chime it. I'm new here and am pleased to see a responsive community.

Not only is Zephyr what I want but once I clicked on it in Cydia it comes back with confirmation Zephyr is what I had purchased. (Quick, Fuga, go add it to your list!)

The Activator action seldom works for whatever odd reason.

Thanks again!

I do the same - keep an Excel spreadsheet of everything that's on (or used to be on) my iDevice. It's handy if it's kept updated, yeah? :) I make a point to run through my installed list on Cydia once a week or so, just to try to keep it updated...

I use the "double tap on the status bar" action to be for my Home button. And, yes, Zephyr works better than that setting.

Glad we could help.
