When you need it will you find out

I have been backing up with Pkgbackup for a few months now and well it isn't working for me.
I have been (or so I thought) backing up my device to Dropbox daily now.
I recently I had some issues with my iPh4 (4.2.8) and was forced to restore and jailbreak it, so I reinstalled Pkgbackup tried to do a restore and nothing.
Says no backups available, and that the one that i found needed to be renamed (but I couldn't find it).

Went into settings and verified that I chose Dropbox, it is linked up, but still nothing.

There is a long string listed in red but no dates or blue date when I choose to restore.

Anyone have any idea's?

The same thing happened to me, go into your dropbox and find the one with the latest date, then go into Pkgbackup and find that backup, sorry I don't remember what I did then, but it worked. Keep trying, you will find out how to do it. If the backup is in your dropbox, you can recover it. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
