Where are Camera Roll pics stored on a PC?

I've got plenty of my own folders (and I know where they are) but where are the iPhone's Camera Roll pics stored on a PC and in what format? I'd like to be able to move them to the folders that I created.

When you plug in your phone it comes up in my computer as a digital camera. You can then import into whatever folders you want. If your on a mac just use iPhoto.
