Today was the release of many new thing from Apple and still more to come. iOS 5 launched, Find My Friends, as well as a whole new world that owns a new Apple device. But also, the iPod Touch 4th Generation was rereleased in the white color. The original iPods all came in the white color so there was no reason Apple needed to ditch it with the iPod Touch. The 4th Generation is still super speedy with the A4 chip so it can definitely handle most of the iOS 5 features. Only downside to this is that iPod Touch owners won't be able to get in on iPhone 4S and iPad 2 exclusives since they do have a lot more power. Seems like Touch owners got a bit left behind this year.
