who cares what they release, they are always going to release something in the future so at some point your going to have an outdated handset, just buy one when you feel like it and enjoy it until it's time to upgrade to the next new hot item

Yeah exactly but I decided to wait till 4 was out on ATT because of how quick Phones go obsolete. I still think no matter what they do the next phone won't be a game changer. Not saying I won't be jealous! My biggest question is if it's going to be 4g or not because if it is they might be handing you a larger bill. In that case it might be ok to be stuck with an old phone. On the topic no I am sticking with ATT.
i currently have a droid, and i'm purposly upgrading to the iphone 4 that runs on 3g because i have no need to throw another $50 a month at verizon for 4g. I'm happy to be stuck in my old plan with my (then)old iphone 4

Ditto. And I am keeping my droid x which I do really like just for the possible chance if I decide to go back to it. Doubt it though. That's how they are going to force everyone out of the unlimited plan. You know what? 3G speeds is all I really need on a phone. As long as I can stream video I am FINE.

I really have no choice but to wait. I'm not eligible for a upgrade till July of this year and there is no way I will buy it outright.

Yeah I am with you on that. I have to wait a year and a half! I don't know how people can change phones like they change their pants. They obviously have a better job than me.

My sister has an iphone. I wanted the iphone a long time ago. But with my droid running 2.2.1 with flash, and running launcherpro plus and sweeterhome2, I find myself not wanting an iphone anymore.
