I have a iPhone 3GS which was working well on WiFi until I tested the alarm mode. The WiFi is now not working. I reset the Network Settings, All Settings,Erased all contents and Settings and also reset the phone back to Factory Default. All to no avail. Several month ago the same happened and setting back to Factory Default cured the problem but not this time.
Software is 6.1.3 The phone tells me there my network is there, I can sign in and hit Join however the "wheel" just keeps going around and the "tick" will not occur. My WiFi is working fine on my iPad and a few other computers.
Why does the Alarm mode kill the WiFi and how can I get the WiFi working again? I gueess the alarm mode turns the WiFi off when it goes into sleep mode to conserve battery power. Is this an Apple software glitch?
