If I upgrade my iPhone 3gs to the beta iOS 6, will my BB 5.13.04 change? Will it change the bootroom? Is it possible to downgrade?

Nothing can change the bootrom. The bootrom is physically built into the device. No software upgrade/downgrade can ever change that.

I recommend that you do not upgrade to iOS 6. Only experienced users....like developers...should upgrade.

And yes...you baseband will upgrade and you will lose the unlock.

The only way to upgrade and preserve baseband is to make a custom iPSW. But there are NO tools that can make a custom iOS 6 iPSW at this time.

If you want iOS 6 that bad...then wait for a tool that can make a custom iOS 6 iPSW. It's gonna be a while.

I would never upgrade to an iOS in its first beta stage. I would wait for beta 5 or something.

Just a quick question, how can i upgrade to iOS 6 Beta?, if the answer would break the rules then just dont answer me...

If you are not a very experiences user then I do not recommend it.

Especially if you would be doing it on your primary phone.

It is for developers only....and it is pretty buggy.

If you want iOS 6 that bad...your gonna have to pay $100 for a developers account from Apple.

Smart thinking.

I use the "always" install the latest betas.

Juts no point unless you are a developer. Just no point. You gain nothing as a standard user.

The iphone 3GS probably wont handle the ios 6 firmware update very well and wont even get all the features, if I had the 3GS I would not even bother upgrading it to ios 6 even after its officially released, I have the 4 and am not going to update it past 5.1.1

Oh, but whats the reason you will not upgrade anymore?
