Will restoring my iphone delete all my contacts?

Hi there,

I have an iphone4.

I have had problems with the ipod function as well as the phone losing the network all the time.

I want to restore the phone back to factory settings to see if this helps with my problems.

My main concern with the procedure is my contacts. When I restore my phone I assume all my contacts will be deleted?

If they do, is there an easy to get all my contacts back onto my phone. For example, I know that all my contacts are saved to my icloud, does this mean I can easily transfer them back onto my iphone?

As long as you do a back up before you restore, you should be fine. Just restore from your last back up and everything will be there including your contacts.
