International Business Times reports today on a new note to investors from Wall Street analyst Chris Caso, from Susquehanna Financial, who says that he has heard word from his sources that Apple will start production of the next iPhone in June of this year, and that it will have a 4-inch Quantum Dot LED curved glass edge-to-edge display with scratch-resistant glass, an aluminum plate case, and oleophobic coating. At the same time as imparting this information from his unnamed sources, Caso has also raised his first quarter production iPhone forecast from 30.5 million - 35.5 million to 32.0 million - 36.5 million.
This is not by a long shot the first time weve heard talk of the next iPhone having a bigger screen, and Cult of Mac actually reported on a previous rumour the other week, which stated that Apple intends to remove the home button in the next iPhone in order to accommodate a 4-inch screen (you can see a mock-up of that concept at the top of this post, courtesy of Cult of Mac).
