I’m getting the iPhone xr later today so wondered if the wireless charging in it is useful? I’ve read you can buy the wireless charging pads, but is it worth getting one and do you have to charge them up for them to work? Also does anywhere have these wireless charging pads for you to use when you are out? I know you would need to stay in same place to use them?

Wireless charging pads have to be plugged in to work. Whether or not it’s worth it can only be decided by you. It depends on whether you’re willing to pay for the convenience of charging your iPhone without having to connect it to a charging cord.
