Yelp is mostly the go to app/website for anyone looking for restaurant and store reviews. Unfortunately, one thing was always missing from the iPhone app, which was the ability to publish full reviews of a venue. The iPhone version of the app would allow users to add tips and use other features, but only type out a draft for a full review, later publishing it via the Yelp website.
Full reviews were most likely blocked on iPhone and iPod Touch devices to keep spam and trolls out of honest reviews. The iPad application has been able to post full reviews for some time now, but it wasn't until today's Yelp update that iPhone users got some lovin'. The former "Tips" button has now been replaced with "Review", making it easier to write about your thoughts on a location right after your experience.
