TUAW has a story today that shows that people still dont realize that taking photos of themselves on an iPhone that doesnt belong to them (putting it delicately!) with Photo Stream still running is not a very good idea! According to TUAW, Katy McCaffreys iPhone was either lost or stolen during a Disney Cruise in April. She had probably given up hope of getting the phone returned to her in one piece, until pictures taken with the phone of a Disney Cruise employee called Nelson and his friends started appearing in iCloud on the stolen/misplaced phones Photo Stream. Disney says that having investigated the matter, the iPhone has now been recovered, and will be returned to Katy when the boat that it is currently on docks back on dry land. As for Nelson, the star of the photos, he is currently on administrative leave, presumably also until the boat docks at the end of the cruise.
