zoom is not working

on the iphone4s the zoom function of the videocam is not working
is there any solution?

Try touching screen with 2 fingers together then spreading them. This zooms the image and adds a slider bar for he zoom.

unfortunately it does not work for the video cam
bringing the fingers together and spreading them does only work for the photocamera
any other ideas?

Hopefully for the next iphone it will have a video zoom.
