iPhone battery

Hi all,

I've had battery issues on my iPhone 5, after going through various software options (hard reset, complete restore) I have an appointment at an Apple store on Monday. I've been told that they'll either replace the battery or replace the phone, my worry is will this be a phone that is new or refurb? When I asked they were very cagey with their response.

From what I've read on different forums, it usually depends on whats available in stock at the time on wheather you get a new battery, refurb or new device
