301+ Short Stories for iPhone App Gets iOS 4 Upgrade

288 Vroom has today announced that its #1 Top Selling iPhone/iPod touch Book app, 301+ Short Stories, is now iOS 4 certified, and also now has even more stories! 301+ Short Stories are designed to be quick, easy, and entertaining reading for on-the-go or anytime. The app features continuous and page-by-page scrolling modes, automatic bookmarking, and adjustable story text size for easy reading.

In addition to the iOS 4 certification, 301+ Short Stories now offers even more stories than ever before, with currently over 310 stories by more than 90 authors. The stories are pulled from all genres, including Adventure, Humor, Ghost Stories, Horrors, Mystery, Westerns, Fantasy, Love (and Loss), and so on.

The list of authors includes the likes of Charles Dickens, Virginia Woolf, James Joyce, Bram Stoker and so on, and although I’m pretty sure that most, if not all of the short stories on offer are in the public domain and so therefore free on iBooks anyway, this still seems like a cool way of having a vast collection of free short stories by different authors grouped together in one handy little app.
