3g/wifi question?

So I've encountered this slight problem, when I go to do certain things on my 4s like say updating the software or downloading a bigger app, it says I need a wifi connection. is there a way I can have this download on 3G since I'm not near wifi all too often?

Try settings> store> use cellular data ON. Reboot iPhone after that and download your apps.

Will try this. After you said that I realized I haven't shut it down since I got it.

Yeah it's ok to leave iPhone on without turning it off unless you have to. I don't often turn off my iPhone too. Only respringing it unless I must reboot it.

you cant download an update without WIFI. you also cant download an app over 20 mb on 3G. only wifi. ik it sucks. but if u jailbreak you can download that stuff over 3G
