So SHould i Jailbreak, Whos done it

So let me get this straight. If I jailbreak I can get a more customizable txting app? Will that allow backgrounds for each person, different fonts and customizable notifications much like Handcent? Ive read Handcent is on iPhone but I have no idea how to get it. What other benefits are there to jailbreaking? Would I be able to emulate games such as GBA, GBC, Genesis, NES and SNES? I think I read they were working on a PSX emulator as well. Any of these available and are they any good?

And whats this about it not working for Verizons iPhone? I do not want to take the plunge and find out I just lost a bunch of money because the jailbreak wont work.

Ok so I downloaded GREENPOISON and when I attempt to launch the loader it looks like it opens and closes? Anyone know a fix for this?

If you are trying to jailbreak verizon 4.2.8 you will need sn0wbreeze greekposion won't work on the new os yet.
