A little or not so little dilemma :-(

Hi all,
I hope there is someone out there who can help me here...

Our place recently got burgled and the usual stuff that tends to be nicked was taken... yep my Laptop with all my Itunes stuff on it, also unfortunately my external harddrive was taken which had my backup on it.... GITS!

Anyway, I still have my phone with my camera roll and photo library on. So I got all my apps back on my new Itunes account on my new laptop and thought I'd go and sync up my phone to bring all my pictures and phone taken vids onto my laptop...

To my horror when I synced up all my camera roll files went over ok, but my photo library files didnt and there were quite a few very sentimental vids within that album...

Now I've been trying in vain to figure out a way to get a raw disc image of my Iphone as Im led to believe my files would still be there - as long as i dont start going mad and add new files to my iphone...

Is there anyone out there who could give me a walkthrough on how to create a raw disc image of my iphone? I have jailbroken it with redsnow and have mobile terminal and ssh on it...

Man I hope I can get my hands on these files again.....

Try this app called iPhone explorer

It might work...I know you could always email the photos to your self or use a app to upload them to Fliker or something.

You can also just jail brake the phone sync your stuff, then restore it

Hi,
Thanks for that but i have already tried this.
you can access the iphone main folders using this and pull current images and vids off, however the problem I have is that the Phone has gone through a back up and sync, so the pictures/vids i am after are in Raw format only, which means they are not actually visable via the main pic folders/menus.
I am trying to get a raw image of my Iphones disc, I know it is possible, however all I seem to find online is that the software is only available to the police or forensic teams... surly if this software exists there must be something available for us no???

Yea you would think...but what you are trying to do is basically take data off you iPhone with out having to jb.

This is exactly what apple tries to protect so it's expected to be a little harder.

What do you mean when you say the pictures are in raw format? Do you have a PC or Mac? Have you tried digging into your phones backups?
