Alert sounds twice sending email. I BCC every email.

Hi,

Hope someone can assist me here please.

When I send an email or respond my emails are setup to BCC me in each tine as this is how I’m wanting it to be.

For some reason each time my phone makes 2 alert tones despite only receiving one back.

Any idea why?

One for the send and one for the receive. You could try telling it to sound only on receive or change the tones so you have different ones. You do that in Settings, under Sounds.

Ok.

How can I amend so it only sounds in receive?

It’s set to “swish” on sending but I get new email “alert” sound twice.

Is it possible to amend for only one “alert” sound?

I can’t work out how.

I think it’s the bcc msg coming but try this: remove all sounds and then, gradually add them back to find which is causing you the problem

Sorted.

I went to settings, sounds and set sent mail sound to none.
