App to customize lock screen or status bar?

I would like to fine a customizable lock screen or status bar app that shows time and temperature without having to open the phone (I use a passcode). Even better if it would allow further customization. I came to iphone 5 from android and find it frustrating that many features and customizations are not possible. I'm on a stock phone and not inclined to jailbreak a brand new phone. Is there an app that will add features to lock screen or status bar? Thanks

Is there an app in AppStore name it pimp your screen, u can costume lock screen,wallpaper and u can mess up with it..

Thanks. I got Pimp Your Screen and it has some nice wallpapers but it cannot add any features. Still wondering if there is anything that can add functionality.
