Even if Apple has just barely started the process of seeding the iOS 6.1 version to developers, it seems this isnt the only thing going on at Cupertino. Apparently, a new report surfacing via the The Next Web claims that new iPhone hardware and iOS 7 hints have begun appearing in the companys app logs. One particular developer allegedly came across a mention about an iPhone 6.1 device that was seemingly powered by the iOS 7. Identifiers for the iPhone 5 iPhone 5.1 and iPhone 5.2 have also been spotted.
According to rumors, Apple has already started to work on its next generation iconic smartphone, but perhaps, whats more interesting is what the iOS 7 will end up bringing to the table. Not to mention it absolutely needs to come with some fixes, especially in the much hyped map app department.
The information seems to be a reliable one, especially since the developer who made the discovery backed up his claims by stating that the device comes from an IP which comes from inside the Apples headquarters in Cupertino. This suggests that some employees are actually performing tests on such devices.
Nevertheless, the fact remains that even if these devices are actually being tested, theres still no actual information about the upcoming products per se. Even so, the confirmation that Apple has indeed started working on the next generation software and hardware will surely be perceived as exciting news for Apple enthusiasts and will certainly ensure they will be keeping eyes on things from now on.
