Apple CEO Tim Cook has officially teased the company’s first event of 2025 with a cryptic post on X (formerly Twitter):

While Cook’s message doesn’t reveal specifics, all signs point to Apple unveiling a new iPhone SE. The current third-generation model launched in March 2022, and rumors have long suggested that a fourth-generation SE is in the works,.

What to Expect at Apple’s February Event

iPhone SE (4th Gen)

• A shift away from the iPhone 8-style design, possibly resembling the iPhone 14 with a notch display.
• Potential adoption of Face ID instead of Touch ID.
• A single-lens camera with computational photography improvements.
• A new chipset, likely the A17 Pro or even the A18.
• USB-C, aligning with Apple’s latest iPhone lineup and EU regulations.

iPad Air with M3 or M4

Apple is also expected to introduce an updated iPad Air. The current model, released in 2024, runs on the M2 chip, and its successor could make a leap with the M3 Chip, or an even more significant leap with the M4 chip for better performance and efficiency.

iPad 11th Generation

Alongside the iPad Air refresh, Apple could introduce the 11th-generation entry-level iPad. The 10th-generation model debuted in 2022 with a modernized design, so this update could bring spec improvements while maintaining its affordability.

Apple’s event will take place on Wednesday, February 19, likely in a pre-recorded video format streamed on Apple’s website and YouTube.
