Apple has once again secured the top spot in Fortune’s annual ranking of the World’s Most Admired Companies, marking its 18th consecutive year at No. 1. The rankings, based on surveys of 3,380 business leaders across various industries, evaluate companies on key factors such as innovation, investment value, social responsibility, and talent attraction.

Following Apple, Microsoft and Amazon retained their positions in the top three, underscoring the continued dominance of the technology sector. Notably, Nvidia surged to fourth place for the first time, driven by its growing influence in artificial intelligence and GPU development, which has become essential for generative AI models from companies like OpenAI, Google, and Microsoft.

Beyond tech, other industry leaders remained highly ranked, with Berkshire Hathaway, Costco, and JPMorgan Chase rounding out the top seven. The 2025 rankings also saw new entrants in the top 50, including ServiceNow, Taiwan Semiconductor, and Novo Nordisk.

Apple’s continued success in this ranking speaks to its brand power, innovation, and influence, maintaining its reputation as the world’s most admired company nearly two decades running.
