After a UK judge ordered Apple to post notices on all its EU websites to make it clear that the Samsung Galaxy does not copy the iPad, Apple came up with a plan to avoid doing so, at least for now.
Apple has taken things to court once again and has managed to persuade a London judge to postpone the ruling. In the meantime the Cupertino group plans to appeal the order in the hopes they wont have to advertise openly.
Everything started earlier this month when UK judged Colin Briss ruled that Apple was required to place an advertisement in major UK newspapers acknowledging that the Samsung Galaxy Tab did not copy the iPads features. Briss gave specific specifications for the outline of the display - "in a font size no small than Arial 14 on a page earlier than page 6."
All Things D managed to acquire a list of those publications and among them we can find some really important newspapers like Financial Times, The Daily Mail, The Guardian, Mobile Magazine or T3 Magazine.
You might think that Judge Birss is a Samsung fan by now, but the truth is that earlier this month, he admitted that the Android tablet wasnt even cool enough to be mistaken for a iPad, but nevertheless admitted that Apples feud against it could end up damaging the Korean company.
