AppleInsider reports today that according to Topeka Capital Markets analyst Brian White, Apple fans should get ready for a cracking September this year, with Apple set to debut not just a new iPhone but the much-vaunted iPad mini as well. White says that he has received information to this effect from sources inside Apples Taiwanese supply chain. White, who is currently in Taipei to meet with his supply chain contacts, also says that he has heard from people in Apples Taiwanese supply chain that the next iPhone will have a unibody aluminum casing, and that it will be made by Foxconn. As AppleInsider notes, some of the supposed iPhone 5 parts that surfaced last week showed what looked like an aluminum back with glass at the top and bottom. Whites source poured cold water on any idea that Apple might be using Liquidmetal Technologies for the next iPhone.
