Apple wallet

I have just put my master card into the wallet on my iPhone seven.
It states that to access the wallet when required to pay for a coffee etc. That I have to double tap the home button or tap on the side of the phone. Well don’t work on either.
Can I just select the wallet then tap on the MasterCard and go from there.

Have you verified the card with your bank? Until you do, Apple Pay won’t work. Set up Apple Pay

Hi sorry no joy.when I press twice on the side button it takes me to the home screen and the same with the home button. I will have a better look.I I conquer the job I will be back.

Your iPhone has Touch ID so hold the home button without pressing it while holding it close to the payment terminal. Apple Pay should show up on your iPhone screen and authorize the payment. How to use Apple Pay
