I'm running the latest version of ios on my iphone 6. However, one thing has been annoying me ever since I got the iphone 6. My apps do not auto-update despite "auto-update" being turned on in the settings.
It appears that as soon as a new app update is released, a few days later my icon gets greyed out and I have to hunt for a decent data signal/wifi to let it update the app so it can become usable again. This is most annoying when I'm on the train/bus etc... and suddenly discover that for instance my spotify has been greyed out because a new update has been released just 2 days prior.
Any ideas how I can sort this out?
