Backing up,Cloud or PC

I have recently invested in a 4S and am new to Apple.Should I back up the phone to the Cloud or my PC or perhaps both,and what are the advantages.

I usually do both. Can never have tooooo many backups.

I carry out both too. If one fails then another is their as an option.

I back my iDevices up to both.

I do both as well, you just never know. The actual back up to PC is usually once a month so I can transfer purchases onto my Mac.
